Pigeons can carry many diseases and parasites that can be transferred into their droppings. Pigeon droppings can grow dangerous fungus once it's dried.  When the pigeon droppings dry and turn to dust it can spread which in return can contaminate other areas. When inhaled it can cause serious health problems.
